The timer allows simple, easy installation and programming. Start time, run time and cycle can be set in advance. Run time ranges from 5 secs to 360 minutes, and watering frequency can be set at from 10 secs to 7 days. Additionally, the tap timer also includes a terminal output that can be connected with a rain sensor (delivery not included) or moisture sensor(delivery included). So, the timer skips watering during rainy days or when soil is too wet. It has a built-in rain delay setting and manual control for added convenience. The dust cover is also included for the LCD display. The soil moisture sensor is equipped with 5 meters long cable connecting to the water timer or controller and send the moisture. The soil moisture sensor is water-resistant and intended for outdoor use. You can insert the pointed panels into the ground. When it detects that the soil is wet enough, the program that was originally set to be watered will be skipped to prevent overwatering and save water. Simply set the control knob to one of three levels to accommodate your plants’ particular moisture requirements.
